The School Day

as the staff cannot accept legal responsibility before then.
A daily Act of Worship is held, usually at the beginning of the day.
The school's teaching sessions are as follows:
8.35 a.m. - 8.45 a.m. Registration 8.45 a.m. - 9.00 a.m. Assembly 9.00 a.m. - 10.30 a.m. Class time 10.30 a.m. - 10.45 a.m. Morning break 10.45 a.m. - 11.45 a.m. Class time (Foundation / Key Stage 1) 10.45 a.m. - 12.00 noon Class time (Key Stage 2) 11.45 a.m. - 1.00 p.m. Lunch (Foundation / Key Stage 1) 12.00 noon - 1.00 p.m. Lunch (Key Stage 2) 2:00 p.m. - 2:15 p.m. Afternoon break (for Infants only) 1.00 p.m. - 3.00 p.m. Class time
On arrival at school, parents should leave their children at the gate. Infants enter via the gated entrance at the left of the building and Juniors by the gated entrance at the right of the school. For security reasons these gated entrances will be locked at
. Late arrivals should enter through the main entrance.
Please do try to deliver children on time and note that the road at the front of the school does get very congested at the beginning and end of the school day. Late arrivals after registration at
may be marked as unauthorised absences.
At the end of the day the Reception children are released to a responsible adult, whilst the rest of Key Stage 1 pupils are told to return to their classroom if no-one is there to collect them. Key Stage 2 pupils are allowed to leave on their own. Children leaving school on foot must cross the school road at the specified places. Please park sensibly when delivering and collecting children. There is a large car park just past the roundabout should you wish to park for any length of time. For safety reasons, children are told to wait inside the fenced area of the front playground behind the wall and not on the path adjoining the road.
